Mario Sports Mix is a video game that was shown at E3 2010. It will be released on the Wii in 2011. It features volleyball, hockey, dodgeball, basketball, and possibly other sports. Though Reggie Fils-Aime made it a point during Nintendo's E3 press conference that Mario and company had not previously been in any games containing the sports listed, this is true of only dodgeball; Mario previously had a dedicated basketball game, Mario Hoops 3-on-3, and volleyball and hockey were featured at length in Mario Party 4 (volleyball only), Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (hockey only), and Mario Party 5 (both).
